Fr just like No game no life, at this point I can't even be f'ed if it is a open ending with no continuation. Not to mention this was original series so there is no way to continue the story after the anime. If there is no continuation then I guess this is it. At least no game no life had a LN but this doesn't. It wasn't a bad series but wasn't rlly good enough for me to be that bummed out about the fact that it isn't going to get a second season

I feel like this show would be better if it was a 24 episodes show. It has an interesting world to explore and seems like the director had a lot of ideas for the world's lore. Too bad none has been explored past its surface and it feels like some random plots being jumbled together. For example, what's the deal with the Paddler? What are the Beasts? Where's the power of the Guardian and Observer came from? Not only are many questions unanswered, but there's also a new plotline being thrown in at the last minute. New characters are being introduced. And what the heck with that ending?

It's Wonder Egg Priority and Fena Pirate Princess all over again.

For the positive, the OP from Penguin Research sure slaps. And the ED is one of my favorites. But that's all I have to say.

While I quite enjoyed it, it really wasted its potential with the rushed development. Unless this is a prologue to the coming season, this is one of the most disappointing shows. 5.5/10

Yeah, the most uncomfortable plot was the business in the Imperial, although Mezami the bastard was dead, but Bakla and the royal subjects are up to something, are Myaa race were important people that they got killed in the castle?

And Facade is the foolish character in this story, because after defeated by Jiro, he simply destroy everything as an excuse for his lost memories, should have killed him permanently so he can JIP(Jerk in Peace).

What I see was a ripoff from Fena Pirate Princess, and Record of Ragnorak because of "Volundr", female Clerics were Valkyries?

It's definitely one of least good originals this season.
Just like Revenger started out good but had plot holes through most of the show and biggest chunk of the storyline got explain at the near end of the show with climatic ending of sorts.

I don't know about you guys, but I really can't read 4 subtitles at once, lol.

i think if it had better anything, animation, or plot or more character depth it would easily be a 7.

i wouldn't say any of it was truly bad but the pacing kinda jumped around from "slow unexplained nothing is happening plotwise" to "its over already".

Original anime is known to be a gamble. For every Lycoris Recoil, Do It Yourself, Carole and Tuesday, and Vivy, we get a Wonder Egg, Fena Pirate Princess, Kamisama ni Natta Hi, and Fairy Gone. This show, unfortunately, falls under the latter.

This show wants to be AOT, it wants to be Monster Hunter, yets fails in terms of plot. NTM the shw juggles too many things at once.

The characters are all bland, particularly with Kumi being a knockoff of Aoba Suzukaze from New Game, and Jiro being the old gruff into hiding but gets back into the fight. I ain't even gonna mention the "villains" here. And what sucks is there's potential here but it's squandered, and what I hate more than a really bad anime, especially one that insults its viewers intelligence, is when a show like this flops, and you can tell underneath the mess there's a good show. Same can be said with Wonder Egg and Fena. I WANTED to know of the lore, Myaa's species, and the world around it, but we know next to nothing, so IDC.

Fortunately there ARE some positives. Penguin Research's single Hengen Jizai and Harumi's Na mo Nai Hana as the show's OP and ED respectively are easily the best part of the show. And when the anime dives into Jiro and Kumi, it gets interesting. Overall, this is a skip, and when LycoReco, an original anime, is one of the best anime of 2022, and Do It Yourself is one of the best anime of Fall 2022, and we have a better OG anime in the form of Buddy Daddies, this just makes this anime look bad. Like I said, I wanted to like this I REALLY did, but I just can't. This is a skip.

Actually no. 3/10 is a perfect score for this, as it leaves everything up to the viewer's imagination. All I can say is that it had a concept, but the execution was haphazard at best.

To each is their own but I do agree it's a little too harsh and at least deserves a 5/10 if any.

It is too harsh but mines only 2 numbers higher since this show is meh.

I gave it a 3 because we have better OG anime, both this season, and in the last few months.
Then there's the matter of a paper thin plot and lack of worldbuilding. Had they at least TRIED to show us, the viewer, what this world is like, even just a bit, I would've considered bumping this up to a 4.

And the ending being "open" as you mentioned is the primary reason I gave this a 3.

If anything his score for Fruits of Evol 2 isekai is gonna get the lowest score of any this season from him and me.
